Dr Metz grew up on a farm in Fairbury, IL and attended Eastern Illinois University for her undergraduate work. She graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and has worked throughout central Illinois. She is currently a member of the ISVMA and AVMA.
She joined the Animal Emergency Clinic of McLean County in 2018 and joined Highland Pet Hospital in July 2021. She will be providing services part-time at Highland Pet Hospital, as well as at Animal Emergency Clinic.
She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, but her favorite would be preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery. Her passion is animals and providing the absolute best care to them. Along with her husband and three children, she has a household of pets: three dogs named Chunk, Miya and Noel and two fish. When she’s not looking after your pet’s care, she enjoys family time, baking and enjoying the outdoors.
She looks forward to making your pet’s life healthy and happy for years to come!
