Diagnostic Services
Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of effective treatment. Our in-house laboratory and imaging equipment provide fast results when your pet needs answers.
In-House Laboratory
Our in-house lab provides results in minutes, not days. This means we can often diagnose and begin treating your pet during the same visit.
- Complete blood count (CBC)
- Blood chemistry panels
- Thyroid testing
- Urinalysis
- Fecal parasite testing
- Heartworm and tick-borne disease testing
- FeLV/FIV testing for cats
- Cytology
Digital Radiography (X-rays)
Digital X-rays produce high-quality images with less radiation exposure than traditional film. Images are available instantly for evaluation.
X-rays help us evaluate:
- Bones and joints (fractures, arthritis)
- Heart and lung conditions
- Abdominal organs
- Foreign objects
- Bladder stones
- Pregnancy
Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses sound waves to create real-time images of internal organs. It's painless, non-invasive, and requires no sedation in most cases.
Ultrasound is especially useful for:
- Evaluating organ structure and size
- Detecting masses and fluid
- Guiding biopsies
- Monitoring pregnancies
- Examining the heart (echocardiogram)
Reference Laboratory
For specialized testing such as biopsies, cultures, and advanced panels, we partner with veterinary reference laboratories. Results are typically available within 1-3 days.
