Lead Veterinary Technician
BothLisa is our Lead CVT who joined Highland in the Summer of 2013. She graduated from Parkland College in 1997 earning her Associate’s degree (AAS) in Veterinary Technology. She has been working with animals for over 30 years. Lisa also manages the inventory of the clinic, online pharmacy, maintenance of diagnostic machines, equipment, and is a member of the management team. She has 2 cats (Booger and Bennie) and also 3 Miniature Dachshunds (Stella, Duke and Tillie) She enjoys working on and fixing

Certified Veterinary Technician
HPHKolleen joined Highland in summer 2020. She earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology from Parkland College in 2018 and is pursuing a BS through Mizzou. She has two cats, Inky and Rouleaux, loves bunnies, and enjoys family time, music, the outdoors, travel, and gardening. Her favorite areas include patient care, anesthesia, and clinical pathology.

HPHBrittany joined Highland in spring of 2021. She graduated from Cedar Valley Distance Education Veterinary Technology Program in 2021. She has two dogs and one cat.

HPHLeslie joined Highland in the Summer of 2021. She graduated from Joliet Junior College in 2004 to become a Veterinary Technician and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Illinois State University in 2010. She has a cat named Pumpkin and a daughter named Gabby. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

HPHKrystina joined Highland in the summer of 2024 shortly before graduating from Parkland College with her AAS in Veterinary Technology in May 2024. She has three cats named Cannoli, Nimbus, and Juniper.

HPH"I have been working in veterinary medicine for 6 years and have been a licensed CVT for what will be a year in December. I graduated from Penn Foster College with a degree in veterinary technology. My favorite thing about being a CVT is getting to be involved in most if not all aspects of our patient's care. We get to see the presenting problem, help execute the treatment plan, and hopefully get to watch them wag their tail walking out the door to go home.
