About the VCF

The Veterinary Care Fund (VCF) was established to help families facing financial hardship provide necessary veterinary care for their beloved pets. We believe that every pet deserves quality medical care, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

Through the generosity of our clients and community, the VCF provides assistance for emergency care, necessary surgeries, and critical treatments when families are unable to afford the full cost of care.

Apply for Assistance

If you're facing financial hardship and your pet needs medical care, you may qualify for VCF assistance.

Eligibility

• Must be a current client of Highland Pet Hospital or Animal Emergency Clinic
• Demonstrate financial need
• Pet must have a treatable condition
• Funds available on a case-by-case basis
• Covers both daytime (HPH) and emergency (AEC) care

Speak with any team member or ask your veterinarian about VCF assistance. Applications are reviewed confidentially by our VCF committee.
